Hi! My name is Julia Pearlman. I currently teach 9-12th self-contained U.S. History, U.S. government and English at Harry S. Truman High in Co-Op City. I graduated from Wesleyan University in 2010 where I was an American Studies Major. I worked for a school managment organization in Philly and D.C. after graduation in development, which made me realize I hate development work! I'm excited to learn new literacy strategies I can use to help my students learn to love to read!
